Dragon Users

The Dragon Users are a group of xweetoks that were created thousands of years before humanity came to being. With this they have been able to be friends with Dragons and use them in everyday life. Though many xweetoks try to destroy there peace. They DO have two seprate realms, One is Leithna, where all Dragon Users know how to get there. The other realm is only for the souls that are killed. They stay in that realm until they are to be rebirthed. Or if a rebirthed xweetok has enough power, they may be able to get into the second realm. They are commonly seen in the forest though.

Basics

• Location: Leithna (A realm with about 400 cities)
• Leader: Alpha and The King of Annwn
• More stuff I can't think of! There are also Nobles, Knights, and regular people. When they die some go to another realm where they wait to be rebirthed. Though this may never happen.

Leithna

A large kingdom consisting about 400 cities. Leithna is the home base of the Dragon Users, being in a completely different realm from TXF. They first appeared in Neopia when a explorer found a large collection of stones in Althador. People usually call them "the Acient Ones".

Ulitoria

Home of the King and Queen and the council/government.

Quitora

A city reknown for it's fighting skills. This is where the Amour begin their training. This city is filled with blacksmiths and amouries. They create the weapons and amour that the Knights use. It is also available to anyone else who wants to purchase these items.

Tredra

Where the Medica Institute is located. The Medica teaches every aspect of healing and medicine. This city is filled with shops selling ointments, tinctures, candles, gems etc. Anything you would need for healing.

Annwn

Annwn is a parallel world and the place of rebirth. The world appears just as hows would of been if it was left untouched. It is a dark, wild and untameable forest claiming the souls and spirits of the dead. Fantastical and hellish creatures live in this worl so only an xweetok with a dragon guardian would be able to survive. Annwn is only accesible by portals or doors. Only the Creators can open portals but some do naturally occur, letting out animals, souls or spirits and letting in anyone who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Think black holes. Annwn adjusts itself to each person who enters the realm by changing the weather, season and temperature etc. To be perfectly parrallel it created it's souls and birthed them as the royal family of Annwn. It's true rulers. To Zingara's utter disgust.

Caer Siddi

Caer Siddi is the only building in Annwn. Of course it's possible to create another caer but you would have to be immensly powerful. For example; Arcatis and his painting. Caer Siddi is a massive buliding of mixed architecture and desgin. Though Gothic Revival is quite apparent. All the doors in the building act as portals so it's not common for xweetoks to randomly come out of closets or pantries. It is home base for the Guards of Annwn.

Portals and Doors

Trees formed the permanent portals to Annwn. You could reach out and the bark would form a door handle and open. Each tree-door is marked by a decorative ribbon or charm swinging from the branches. Tree-doors which have been felled still work which leads to doors opening in kitchen tables. But due to the accessibility nearly everyone was slipping in and out. The living were dying in the realm of the unborn and that just makes everything complicated. This is what made Awhireigna to lock away Annwn. (See Keeper of the Keys)

OakHeart

OakHeart is the nickname given to the oak tree located in the heart of TXF. It is the largest portal and home to the Creator Faience. The tree is hollow, thus allowing him to live inside it on the border land between Annwn and this realm.

Souls

In and out of Annwn souls take the form of butterflies. These butterflies usually reflect the patterns or colours of their past physical body. When they're reincarnated a new body is formed around in it. Dragon users experience reincarnation. When they die their soul passes into Annwn where it awaits a new body. They do not retain memories but occassionally get flash backs from their past lives. Following the two sayings 'Laughter is the voice of the soul' and 'The eyes are the window to your soul' xweetoks without souls cannot laugh and their eyes are pure white.

Council

The Council is made up of 26 members, each of them has a certain letter, that corrisponds with the english Alphabet. In order to be in the council the first letter in your first name must be open, and you must actually earn your spot. The Council serve Alpha and King Byakura in deciding on plans and approving things.

Nobles are high-born Dragon Users. They are usually the direct kin of council members, court members, officials, the king and queen themself, or from a Annwn xweetok.

The Armor

These are xweetoks that gain armor at will. This armor can change over time depending on how much Spiritual energy is being realesed. An example is Alpha only realesed a small amount when she's in her armor while Frotust realeses HUGE amounts while in his armor (He's a spirit..duh. XDD ) There are also 5 stages.

• Stage 1: Where the armor only has it's base color
• Stage 2: When the armor gains swirls (different color than the base) NOTE: Dragon Unison rarely starts on this stage.
• Stage 3: Another swirl is added (different from the other two) Most Armor xweetok Dragon users get there ability to unite with there Dragons on this stage
• Stage 4: One more swirl is added (different color than the other three) MUST be able to gain ATLEAST a tail in Dragon Unison before reaching the final stage.
• Stage 5: Rainbow swirls (all the other swirls combine basicaly) Only two people as gained this stage.

The Knights

These xweetoks are people that are chosen by Alpha. They MUST be a Decendant of "The Armor" in order to become a Knight of Leithna.

The Guard

The Guard's job is to monitor portals, spirits, souls and creatures. It's their job to keep a tab on everything going in and everything going out. If an animal or soul or spirit escapes it's them who track it down and return it to it's proper place. Sounds like a small job but it's an important. We can't have Annwn a chaotic mess can we? The Guard use moving maps as guides and a chosen Annwn creature. It's a solitary job as most wander alone along the paths with only their dragon and animal as a companion. Members of the Guard are chosen when the xweetok shows an interest in Annwn, animals, spirits and souls etc. They need to be open-minded, an ability to accept anything. They also need to be able to believe. Most Dragon Users believe Annwn is myth so it's important that the xweetok believes in the stories told to them. There is no specific age for the chosen xweetok becoming a Guard. It's just usually when they get close to discovering the Guard's existence. The members are trained by senior members of the Guard, learning from their elders.

The Medica

The Medica teachs all aspects of healing and medicine. From aromatherapy to acupucture. The students there travel up the ranks as they prove themselves to their master of their chosen subject. The ranks are as follows; E'lir, Re'lar and El'the. How long it takes is varied but it's usually a years training to be an E'lir, a year and four months to be an Re'lar and a year and eight months to be an El'the. When they graduate they recieve a bracelet bearing the schools emblem. This shows everyone that they have been trained by the best and are skilled in their art. They can stay on as a teacher or leave to use their skills. If they stay on they maybe given the chance to become a Master.

Marksnaps

(Marksnaps are copyrighted by Kai.) The Dragon Users had a little afair with Marksnaps 4 years ago. With this they passed a law that any Marksnap Dragon User was to be executed. So it's very rare to find Marksnaps that are Dragon Users. So rare that there about 3 out of 1,000,000 in each generation that is a Marksnap Dragon User.

The Creators

Arya,Tust,and Faience are called the Creators of The two realms and the Dragon users. Each creator is unique in the Dragon user race by their abilities. Ex. Arya has the Creators Staff, which can take spiritual particals and turn them into lifeforce and Faience has the ability to shapeshift. They are told in many tales about the day Leithna, Annwn and The Dragon Users were created. It has been told that Faience and Tust were in war with each other and Arya sacrificed herself to stop them. In the process, the mass amount of spiritual energy caused them to unknowingly open the realm of Annwn and create the Dragon Users. Of course, this is just a childs story. For all we know they could of been drunk out their minds and did it as a joke XDDD -hides from Crystia-

The Keeper of the Keys

Keeper of the Keys is a xweetok who carries the keys of many things. The first Keeper of Keys was spotted when she locked away Annwn from the living, since people were dying in there and coming back to Leithna. She also locked away the human form of Annwn, making an alternate form in its place. This is why The King of Annwn has such a hard time becoming Annwn. She is also the one that made one Annwn person turn into a sinister. Who is she you ask? Varakei. Not only did the Creators hunt her down, the shadows did too. The shadows got there first. Varakei was killed and reincarnated. She was reincarnated into the Nairian, Azil; the mate of Sin Kavain. She later died and is now a Death note holder called Awhieigna. She still retains a few memories of her past life and can take on their appearances. (No, she doesn't kill people with her death note, her death note is more like a sins note...XDD)

When Varakei was killed her soul passed into Anwwn. A new body was created for her but before she could be rebirthed the shadows stole the soul. Annwn went ahead though and birthed the new soul less Keeper of the Keys. Her name is Vaskalia. She resembles the Varakei except for the fact her eyes are a white. The eyes are the window to the soul they say. It was only later when Azil died was she granted a soul and a new life.

Arcatis/Annwn

Arcatis is really the human form of Annwn, the realm of the unborn. With the spiritual energy of a realm it's awsome in many ways, but it does have it's bad things. If he uses it there is a chance that he'll go into a coma or he dies. Which if this happens the next son of someone with Arc's DNA or lover will rebirth Annwn. It's like a life cycle. ( The only exception to this is Arcatis's father, Byakuya)

The Phoenix

Ahh, the Phoenix. Creator and Destroyer. The Phoenix is one of the legendary Chinese creatures, next to the Dragon. It is unknown where the Phoenix's position lies with the Dragon Users as it is known to help those powerful enough to summon it. It also known to kill or severally harm those around the one who it summoned it. An old story tells how the Phoenix, summoned by Faience in a tight spot, killed his Dragon, Noble, and then burned down the village around them. But life, like the Phoenix, rose from the ashes. The forest was said to have grown from the now futile ground.

The Phoenix shares it's powers with two xweetoks in every 3 gernerations. Instead of the Dragon User being bonded with a Dragon, they are instead bonded with a Phoenix. The only known Phoenix-Dragon User is Quixxon Kavain. Unlike the traditional image of a Phoenix, his Phoenix is a dreary grey creature with a song that can drive you insane. Literally. In the future Dragon User roleplays there is another Phoenix-Dragon User named Haseo. (( I SHALL EXPLAIN HIM CAUSE I AM AWSOME...|3 ))

The Pine Watch

A palm-sized pocket watch carved from the first pine tree of TXF. This watch is owned by Faience (The Third Creator) and is keeps him alive. Pine trees are associated with immortality and seems right that a watch measuring the life of one should be made of this wood. Faience can turn the time back on the watch and thus adjust his age appearance. When he is away from TXF it is the watch that keeps him alive. He often uses it to measure years and record dates of importantance. The watch can found hanging around his neck just below his oak collar.

The Stars of Ones Desires

A golden xweetok slipped through the shadows, stars clinging to his pelt. He spoke low and soft to the stars, his words capturing them and holding them in place. The xweetok, Faience, soon stood over a sleeping newborn kit. Gently, ever so gently, he stroked its forehead whispering words in a long forgotten tongue. 'Dance as if no one were watching, Sing as if no one were listening, And live everday as if it were your last' He took the stars from his pelt and pressed them to the kits chest. They sunk in and the kit squirmed with the sudden warmth. Faience and smiled walked away, back into the forest. He stared up at the sky and told them what he hoped to be their last command. 'You have served me well,' he said,' You needn't had to but you did. You see me as a master when you should see me as a friend. Tonight I have one last wish for you. You are free. Stars of Annwn, you are free. I no longer require you. ' He smiled again and dropped his gaze to the ground. He yawned involuntarily. 'I am tired,' he murmured looking up at the sky,' As friends, will you accompany an old xweetok home?' If stars could laugh he was sure they would be laughing now. He felt their warm presence beside them and gasped as they burned into his pelt. 'Forever with you,' they seemed to whisper to him. He hummed peacefully and padded towards Oakheart. His home."

The stars of Annwn have many properties. One of them is the ability to fulfil the desires of who ever asks. Faience used them to create newborn Dragon Users before he freed them of their "duties" A few of the stars chose to remain behind seeing Faience as their master. They decorate his back. Not used to having anyone to serve the stars created a job for themselves; find a new master. They chose the younger brother of the failed Keeper of the Keys reincarnation. Trenoti is a young and unknown Dragon User. The creators are not aware of his existence. He's an accident really.

Other Information

Love

In Leithna, Dragon Users may love anyone they like, except for their enemies. For example, If someone loves Yioku (Crystia's xweetok) They will be counted as an outcast and will be killed on the spot. Also, due to the tender relationship between Marksnaps and Dragon Users you would probably end up disowned if you fell in love with one. And if you loved a Sinister, well, you'll be killed.
