Masaruchi

This is a group of sorcerers originating in the valleys of a mountain chain north and to the west of Shengkuu, centered around a city named Masaruchi, after it's founder. The most important thing about them is that every citizen there has multiple lives. The more lives, the more powerful their magic. The magic of these xweetoks centers around the elements, and crafts. For example, Mekai chan (belongs to Lyra) has cooking magic, therefore she can render poisons in food harmless, as well as detecting poisons, parasites, and food poisoning. Simple magics like these are mixed with elemental ones, according to the number of lives they have, a xweetok can have control over a certain number of crafts and elements. They are governed by the xweetok with the most lives, (12), and a number of other multi livers, (The 8-11s) Xweetoks living on the outskirts of the city, or nearby in gypsy caravans can still have multiple lives. This is going to be a plot, and the city will eventually fall to an evil xweetok named Cyrene. (Currently an ncc, will be applied for later in the future.) The scattered sorcerers will flee, eventually ending up, some way or another, at TXF, where Cyrene will follow and attempt to hunt them down. e official plot is still open to members, but a side, preceding plot has begun since the Sinisters began to invade Masaruchi. Arc and Byakura arrived there by accident, and Reiyn, Hachi, Emmiyo, Sakura and Fai all met up there through coincidence as well, because Chira, Hachi's mentor, received word of the sinisters when Fai happened across them right after the two met Reiyn. Upon hearing about the sinisters, and seeing one in the area they decided to warm Masaruchi.

Meanwhile, the sinisters attacked Masaruchi eventually, and the council and Zen frantically prepare against this new threat. The main plot will begin once this is all over and Lyra figures some more stuff out. :P

Basics

Location: The City Masaruchi and it's outskirts. (North west of Shengkuu, past several mountain ranges in a valley with a lake.)
Leader: Zen, Leader in training: Califer. (In training for leadership, young sorcerers are taken on by older ones untill they are ready for the magical and political duties of the kindgom) and the rest of the xweetoks with 8-11 lives.

The Life system

Lives are lost one by one unless the injury is extremely severe, then it may take more than one, or all of them, and the xweetok will die. Losing a life does not affect your power. Upon losing a life, a xweetok will enter a healing trance. More information about it and the rankings here [1]
