Ringtails

Once located at the top of a barren misty mountain, the Ringtail clans appear to have originated from ancient Shenkuu. During the turn of the century they retreated to the high mountains due to their personal resentment of technology and its affects upon the developing world. From then on the many sub-clans of the Ringtails specialized themselves in different aspects of life to keep them selves healthy, entertained, and living in a well-conditioned, loving community. As such, they, their children, and their children's children were raised to perform a single specialty which supplied the community in some way, shape, or form.

The jobs and heritage of the clan is depicted and recognized by the color of the rings on their tails. Each clan has their own ancient chinese trade, their own family name, and their own colors/tones of rings.

Unfortunatley, the Ringtail Village is no longer in existence - approximatley ten years ago a massive snow storm (one worse than any other in history) ripped through the mountain and not only destroyed the homes, but the people as well. It is rumored many made an escape through the merchant paths and across the bridges strung high above the canyons and crevices, but by lack of their appearance and few who have made contact with any others, none of these rumors have been confirmed, nor do which know which branches of the clans may exist outside of the forest.

Basics

Location: Base location was a secluded mountain village in Shenkuu, now demolished. Currently those that survived are simply wandering about, some finally traipsing into The Xweetok Forest.
Leader: None; those that are left fall under the governing of their chosen home.

Clans and Signing Up

For those of you who don't know, Kale was the one who started this with her Farwens twins. As of right now, and seeing as she wasn't planning on this turning into anything big, I'm really not having open sign ups xD If you have a really good idea and are really passionate about getting them based, just ask. I'm a wuss, most often.

The currently standing jobs/clans are as follows:

Martial Arts - Farwens Fortune Telling - (I forget Leah's last name xD) Fireworks - (Castley needs to tell me) Historians - Feahlins Cooks (Pending, Aspie I need to know if Mallow is still a ringtail or not xD)
