Ghosts in form, usually invisible to everyone but those with spiritual powers, the Shinigami, or death gods. are in charge of the spirit of the dead, and in general, the spirits of everyone in this world and the next (also known as Soul Society). This group of xweetoks is largely based on Bleach.
Shinigami are departed neopets souls that have gained supernatural powers. Their bodies are composed of ectoplasm and they can only be seen by other spiritually aware entities. The most prominent supernatural power possessed by a shinigami is their zanpakutō, a supernatural sword generated from the shinigami's soul. Shinigami also naturally give off spiritual energy, which varies greatly in magnitude with the strength of a shinigami. A zanpakutō is a physical manifestation of this force concentrated into a blade. Shinigami operations are based out of Soul Society, which is the afterlife. Travel between Neopia and Soul Society is extremely limited and monitored, but some shinigami are stationed in Neopia to carry out their duties and therefore must often travel between the two. In addition, it is a crime for a shinigami to remain in Neopia longer than a certain time limit. A shinigami's duties include leading Pluses (ghosts) to Soul Society, and the cleansing of hollows. They are also responsible for governing the flow of spirits between Neopia and Soul Society.

Part 1 - Binds the arms of a target with spiritual fabric and iron shafts. Part 2 - This spell covers a target from head to toe with spiritual fabric, stabs them with numerous metal blades and then smashes them with an immense metal cube. Incantation: First song: halting fabric, Second song: hundred linked bolts, Final song: great seal of 10,000 forbiddings.

Generates a fire is able to completely burn and incinerate a target of a low reiatsu. Can be used to burn lost limbs and on funeral pyres.
Kidou is gathered in hands and then shot off in a destructive blast. Incantation: Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle.
Essentially a doubled version of #33, this spell fires two shots of blue fire with greater potency than the single-shot variety. Incantation: Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens.
Very powerful technique and is very difficult to use. Forms a box of black energy around a target, which is then pierced by dozens of energy "spears", lacerating the one inside from head to toe.
There are many divisions but not many Shinigami of every division appears on Neopia.
Dedicated to monitoring Neopia and leading pluses to Soul Society and defeating the Hollows. They have lately been teaming up with the 12th division in their hunt of the MaSoul.
A shady group of souls that oppose the Shinigami for their own reasons, they are stationed in some hidden part of Soul Society. They are responsible for the deaths of many shinigami.
